Tess Hewett, MsC (She / Her)

Tess is the Global Fund focal point for all Médecins sans Frontières / Doctors without Borders (MSF) sections. Previously, she worked with MSF projects in Latin America and South Sudan, focusing on HIV, TB, malaria, climate change, victims of sexual violence and displaced populations. In Honduras she worked with the MSF team and prominent civil society organizations to ensure that the morning after pill, Levonorgestrel, was legalized (which, before approval, had been illegal in Honduras for over 13 years). She holds a MSc in Public Health (public health promotion stream) and a MSC in International Public Policy. Before working for MSF Tess worked with various organizations, including the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (covering Canada, USA and Mexico), UNICEF, Overseas Development Institute and the UK Department for Health and Social Care.
