Selamawit (She / Her) is an independent consultant and policy advocacy specialist with over 15 years of experience addressing critical social issues via grassroots and international development platforms. She previously served as the Constituency Focal Point for the Developed Country NGO Constituency Delegation to the Stop TB Partnership Board, and as Manager for Global Health Partnerships at the RESULTS Educational Fund, a non-partisan, non-profit organization. In this role, she worked with key policymakers, partner organizations, and technical agencies to orchestrate U.S and international campaigns to tackle major diseases of poverty, particularly TB, increase access to education, expand economic opportunity for the poorest, and reform World Bank and International Monetary Fund policies. Selamawit has worked and studied in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, South Sudan, the West Bank, and in the United States. She has a MasterĀ“s degree in Development Economics from The Catholic University of America and a MasterĀ“s degree in General Studies from Addis Ababa University, College of Development Studies.
