Pernille (she / her) is Senior Policy Advisor and team lead at AIDS-Fondet in Denmark, where she leads the organization’s global and national advocacy and policy work. She has over 10 years of experience working with access to health and social justice, where her focus mainly has been on HIV, sexual and reproductive health and rights, maternal and child health, and integrated services for HIV and mental health, drug use and NCDs. She has previously worked with the NGO Integrate Health in Togo, and with UNESCO and UNAIDS in Senegal, Tanzania and Geneva. Before getting into the field of global health, she worked with student politics and academic freedom together with student organizations across Europe and in Zimbabwe and Palestine. Pernille holds a BSc. in International Development Studies and Journalism from Roskilde University and a MSc. in International Development and Management from Lund University.
